Local employment programme to boost young people’s mental health

Innovating Minds CIC, a local mental health social enterprise has joined a £2.8 million partnership to offer young people across Coventry and Warwickshire access to tailor-made psychological support. 

The organisation, which provides bespoke early interventions including cognitive behaviour therapy and behaviour activation therapy, will offer psychological interventions to young people whose mental health conditions, such as depression or anxiety disorders, cause a barrier to education, training and employment. 

Innovating Minds CIC joins a wealth of experienced and knowledgeable partners who are already delivering the Progress programme, made up of charities and youth organisations and led by community charity, Groundwork UK. 

Dr Asha Patel, CEO, Clinical Psychologist of Innovating Minds said: “We are honoured to be a part of this partnership as this let’s us to provided specialist psychological support so young people with emotional and mental health difficulties can achieve their dreams.”
