Sally struggles with anxiety, depression, low mood, poor motivation and PTSD.  Sally had been unemployed for 6 months when she began working with Innovating Minds, prior to this Sally worked as a cleaner for her father’s cleaning business.

Sally was referred to Innovating Minds by her local Job Centre as a result of the impact that her mental health issues were having on her ability to gain employment. She received 1-1 therapy support to address her mental health issues for 5 months. Her main goals were to improve her mood, reduce her anxiety and improve her self-esteem and confidence.  She has an interest in photography and aspires of a career in this in the future.

Following the support she has received from Innovating Minds, Sally feels much more positive about herself and her mental health, her confidence and self-esteem has improved as have her anxiety levels and low mood.  She has started an online mindfulness course and has gained employment as a cleaner.

Sally had this to say about the support she received from Innovating Minds:

“I was made to feel very comfortable and wouldn’t have made the progress without Zoe”
