It’s a bitter sweet period for us at Innovating Minds, as we are sad to be saying goodbye to a number of our Assistant Psychologists. However, we are thrilled to be able to share their success stories and news of career progressions.
Our team of Assistant Psychologists work across a number of our programmes at Innovating Minds, supporting individuals to achieve their aspirations and overcome mental health difficulties. Assistant Psychologists provide clinical and research support, under the direct supervision of our team of qualified Clinical Psychologists, in schools and on our employability programmes.
Working as an Assistant Psychologist can lead to training as a fully qualified Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Educational Psychologist and Psychological Wellbeing Practioner. We are therefore delighted to announce, that following their experience with Innovating Minds we have one Assistant Psychologist who is progressing onto the Counselling Psychology doctorate course in London and two Assistant Psychologists progressing to Psychological Wellbeing Practioner roles within IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) services.
